HOLLAND CONSERVATION COMMISSION
Minutes of Commission meeting held on October 23, 2007.
Present: Mary vandenBerg – Chairperson, Steven Anderstrom, Howard Fife, Rolf Hilbig.
Absent: James Wettlauffer, Patricia Caron
7:00 PM Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 PM Minutes of Commission meeting held on October 9, 2007 were read and accepted by all, waiting signature of Pat Caron.
7:15 PM Received packet including NOI for review by commission from Jalbert Engineering for 17 Leisure Drive. This is for the removal of three decks and the redesign of two decks and a patio with a retaining wall. Several questions concerning the NOI and the plan blueprint arose and will be followed up by a phone call to Jalbert Engineering by Mary vandenBerg.
7:30 Received DEP file number for lot 5A Stafford Road (Adam and Dennis Brote). DEP file number is 184-0222.
7:40 PM Ron Paquette of 94 Stafford Road appeared before the commission to express his concerns about new construction by his immediate abutter. This new construction has yet to be approved by Zoning and come before the Conservation Commission for approval.
8:00 PM David Buccelli of DB Tree has request for tree cuttings on three separate properties.
1- 79 Sturbridge Road (Karen Peret).
2- 39 Island Road (Robert Laplante).
3- 61 Sandy Beach Road (Victoria Wattendorf)
All were approved by the Commission.
8:20 PM Clarence Soper with property on Overlook Drive (R36 J 5/6) is installing a new septic and well, also new roof/windows/siding. Approved by the commission with the requirement for silt fence/hay bales as outline in plan blueprint.
8:40 PM David McGregor of Regis and Sons Construction presented plans for a new home on Kimball Hill Road (4-A-12). Approved by the Commission according to plan reviewed.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM.
